DESCRIPTION:Safely dispose of your household hazardous waste (HHW) and electronic waste (e-waste) free of charge!\n\n\nItems accepted at the EDCO Recycling and Transfer Collection Center include unwanted non-controlled pharmaceuticals\, needles and syringes\, antifreeze\, car batteries\, cleaning supplies\, cosmetics\, used motor oil\, pesticides\, household batteries\, fluorescent light bulbs\, TVs\, computers\, VCRs\, stereos\, and cell phones. Residents can bring up to 15 gallons or 125 pounds of HHW per vehicle. \nWe do not accept: Household Hazardous and electronic waste from a business\, explosives\, ammunition\, marine flares\, radioactive materials\, controlled substances\, trash and tires\, and white goods (refrigerators\, stoves\, washing machines\, etc. \nThe Center is located in one of Los Angeles’ most densely populated areas and will serve as a convenient outlet for all county residents to safely dispose of hazardous waste. \nThe Center provides a free\, convenient\, and environmentally safe method for County residents to drop off HHW/E-Waste free of charge. The Center is located at EDCO Recycling and Transfer Center\, 2755 California Ave\, in the City of Signal Hill. EDCO is open on select Saturdays of every month from 9:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.\, except in the event of a holiday.

These products include household cleaners\, lawn and garden care\, paint\, and more. \nWhy do we have them?\nReuse Centers help divert usable materials from the waste stream\, conserve resources and energy\, and reduce costs. Los Angeles County residents can pick up these useful products for FREE. \nHow does it work?\nStop by any of the two Reuse Centers during operating hours.
