Residents can bring up to 15 gallons or 125 pounds of HHW per vehicle. We do not accept: Household Hazardous and electronic waste from a business\, explosives\, ammunition\, marine flares\, radioactive materials\, controlled substances\, trash and tires\, and white goods (refrigerators\, stoves\, washing machines\, etc. \n\n\nThe Center is located in one of Los Angeles’ most densely populated areas and will serve as a convenient outlet for all county residents to safely dispose of hazardous waste.The Center provides a free\, convenient and environmentally safe method for County residents to drop-off HHW/E-Waste free of charge. The center is located at EDCO Recycling and Transfer Center\, 2755 California Ave\, in the City of Signal Hill. It is open the second and fourth Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.EDCO will be closed the following dates: 1/13/24; 3/23/24; 5/25/24; 10/12/24; 11/9/24; and 12/28/24.

This center is located at 1200 W. City Ranch Road in Palmdale and is open to the public on the first and third Saturday of each month\, from 9 am until 3 pm. AVECC will be closed the following dates: 2/17/24 and 7/6/24.
