Residents, bring your used tires to our free Tire Collection Event.  Rims are accepted.  No tires from businesses, nor tractor-sized tires.  Contact the County at (626) 430-5540 for a tire hauling permit if you transport 10 or more tires.

Dispose of those stubborn tires in your home or community and help reduce waste in our landfills.  Stray tires also cause urban blight and provide a nesting area for harmful mosquitoes.  Tens of thousands of residents have taken advantage of this service. There are also commercial recyclers which accept waste tires from tire shops and the public.  Waste tires are often recycled into rubberized asphalt or slurry for street rehabilitation projects. For more information, visit CalRecycle.
