Residents of the unincorporated community of Castaic (including Val Verde) can drop off up to one ton of trash such as furniture, appliances and other bulky items at Chiquita Canyon Landfill. Bins will be available to drop off smaller items at the following locations:
- Val Verde: Southwest corner of San Martinez Road and Parker Avenue
- Castaic: LA County Public Works, Road Maintenance Division – 526 Yard, 27624 Parker Road, Castaic, CA 91384
Please note that the Val Verde location will only accept trash from 7:00 AM until 11:30 AM. The Chiquita Canyon Landfill and the Castaic locations will remain open to accept trash until 2:00 PM.
