CART SWAPS BEGIN NOVEMBER 3, 2025!
Universal Waste Systems (UWS) carts are being replaced with carts from Athens Services gradually throughout November.
Here’s what to know:
- Place all your carts out on your scheduled collection day.
- If it’s your turn, carts will be swapped after collection, by 8 p.m.
- UWS will continue to provide service until October 31st.
- Athens Services will service ALL carts throughout the cart swap period. Your old carts will be exchanged for gently used Athens carts on your regular collection day.
- All basic service and extra carts are expected to be swapped by December 1st.
